Hello, I am asking for suggestions for a good family campsite near to leicestershire. My husband myself and my 4year old son are brand new to the world of camping. i was hoping that someone could put us on the right road to a campsite that has good facilites, electric hook-up for tents, maybe a play area for children. We would consider futher a-field Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks Anona.

There are lots of nice sites in and around Leicestershire. They vary from all singing all dancing club type sites, to a basic field with facilities. Best to do a search using the campsite search facility and when you see some that have potential let us know and we can give you more advice!
Try Oakham and Rutland, I know there are a couple there to start with.
