hi camping at newhaven near buxton this saturday, still new to camping just wondering does anyone know how muddy the fields are likely to be with the rain. we have had some really heavy rainfall in liverpool and im worried the fields will be waterlogged. booked eh anyone know what facilities are like

I think this site is pretty well drained, from memory it's flat on the camping area and they are an established site which would have sorted any problems of that kind out by now.
Not sure if you are cycling while you are away and maybe I'm telling you what you already know but you can pick up the high peak trail from a lane opposite the site, also the Tissington trail if you down the main road via the overgrown footpath and turn towards Biggin.
