We've just got a new small TV/DVD to take camping with us, only for late evenings when we can't sit out and any possible rainy days - oh and we've got wireless headphones so we won't disturb anyone   Just wondered if anyone knew what the reception/coverage was like at Fforest Fields, also the same with DAB radio.

Don't think receptions that good.  They do have some large aerials that I think you can borrow for a charity donation if you need one.

Non existent TV reception when I visited. Didn't try DAB. I didn't bother with the loan ariels, TV was not that important to me.

you dont need a tv at fforest fields, relax enjoy the scenery and the peace and quiet,seriously the reception is not great, you can hire large aerials and give a donation to charity,not sure if it is any better with freeview or not, seen quite  afew caravanners with satellite dishes.

Thanks everyone, please don't get me wrong, we don't rely on TV, we do all the normal camping things, cards, games, etc, but OH likes to watch a DVD later in the evening, hence the headphones.  I'd also like to keep up with Big Brother, but if I can't it's not the end of the world.

You can get digital at FF but a lot of people have Sat dishes set up.

Didn't get it and didn't miss it at all!!  WiFi was a bit hit and miss too, had it first weekend, then there was a problem, when it was sorted it didn't reach our tent so had to go sit outside the 'office' with my iPod to catch up with the world!!
