Hi all we have booked to go to the lakes but decided to try and squeese in another trip when we get back so looking to go sunday 22nd August for a few days. We ideally would like a cheap but cheerful campsite. We dont want to travel too far, i live in Hull.

Can anyone recommend any for me please.

What do you consider to be cheap? I guess the number of people going will effect the price.

Vale of Pickering is a lovely site if you have children - loads to do in the surrounding area.

If you are talking really cheap how about Carr House Farmat Pickering.
Cheap and cheerful and only £10 per night per tent with ehu. Just round the corner from Flamingo land (If you have a day out at the coast and pick up a holiday brochure available in newsagents/supermarkets, there is usually a 3 for 2 offer in for Flamingo land)
Stayed at Carr House Farm couple of weeks back and there were a few of your fellow Hull campers on site.
