Hi, dont post on here often just lurk in the shadows but am getting desperate trying to find a family friendly (not loud) site with availability Fri 13 - Tues 17 August. Tried a dozen or so places in and around Poole, Bournemouth etc with no joy. Does anyone have any suggestions of sites (ideally no further than 30-40 min drive or so from Poole).

Oh and i have 10 berth tent and would like EHU if poss .

Many thanks

Funny enough thats one i was considering, only had one pitch left and reviews left me wondering. Went for Sandyholme in the end near Dorchester. Thanks anyway.

We like it but each to their own. Reviews are fine but only an opinion measured against expectation. Just had a look at the first few reviews - one thought the farm smells nice - one didn't.

One thought the stagnant pond dangerous - the other refered to it as a fishing pond. One commented on the long grass- -we like longer grass

One complained about noisy neighbours. They probably aren't there any more.

Nothing against sandyholme at all cos I don't know it. and hope you enjoy it. It's a good way from Poole/Bournemouth.
