Does anyone know anywhere where there are vacancys for this weekend i have phoned over 20 campsites and they are all full looking for yorkshire or cumbria

Have you tried any camping and caravanning club sites? EHU might be booked up but basic pitches should be ok. They cost a bit if you're not a member though. Good luck! x

I was looking for somewhere in in the Trough of Bowland/North Yorks and wasn't getting anywhere either, but we managed to get a pitch at Wyreside Lakes (http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=4762) for Saturday earlier today. The site is near Lancaster, so just south of Cumbria, but might be worth a shot?

the last 2 weekends we av got pitches on hollins farm silverdale and waterside house ullswater both booked on the thursday, so might be worth a go..

you could also try a national trust site in lakes which dont take bookings just turn up plus i think there are 2 or 3 around Hawes that are the same if you fancy taking your chances..

All that said i still haven''t booked for this weekend so maybe i shouldn't of said owt lol..
