Considering a week here in early summer, and have read the various reviews on the site. The website and brochure I have been emailed are very brief and lack photos of the site and facilities (never a good sign in my view), although from the aerial views on Google Maps the touring area looks quite nice.
A few questions for anyone who has stayed here:
1: what's the bar like? Is it "pub like" or a cheap and tacky clubhouse?
2: are the fully serviced/super pitches the new ones nearest the entrance which now look to be virtually all hard-standing/gravel with a tiny patch of grass? (I would want a full service pitch but not if it means staying on a car park!)
3: do 'north facing' pitches with trees/hedge immediately behind get any sun or are they permanently in the shade?
4: what's the TV reception like? (In the few photos I've seen everyone seems to have 20ft high masts up!)
Many thanks!
