Hi all,
Just after a little advice really please. We are looking at popping to Pillaton for a couple of nights next week, its only 10 mins down the road and our friends want to test out their new tent. However, we've been advised that they only have a couple of sloping pitches left. I've not booked yet as thought I'd just check with some of you guys who visit Pillaton frequently just how much of a slope the pitches are on and if they make a detrimental difference.
Many thanks in advance
Laura

If it's the ones along the hedge towards the dog walk the end ones are pretty sloping, did they say which pitch numbers?
Go onto the Chit Chat section and ask in the Pillaton II thread, a lot of people on there go regularly and will be able to give you detailed info.

Pitches 9 - 15 vary in their slopingness (word?) and are not ones I would choose to be pitched on if given a choice.
