We are thinking about going to Fen Farm Caravan Site.  Have read the reviews and understand that Mersea Island is reached by a causeway.  Please can anyone who has been there tell me if it makes access to the island difficult

Hi welford, we go there all the time, really nice camp, you can check the tide table here,

We have never found the causeway a problem, the tide is only across the road for a couple of hours if its across at all, you can easily work your times around it.
