Hey
We're staying at Porlock for the bank holiday weekend, and I just wondered if anyone knew what the facilities are like there?
I've looked through all the reviews and on their website, but it doesn't mention anything about a shop or anything......is this because there isn't one?

Just wondered if there was somewhere to buy some milk in the morning etc... nothing too flashy :)

Any help would be great!

Depends which site you are staying at. Porlock Caravan and camping site is within a short walking distance of Porlock village which is full of shops. There is a campsite (Sparkhayes) which is practically in the village.

Porlock hardware is fab! they have all sorts of things that an old fashioned hardware shop should have including camping gear.  There is a good butcher, a mini supermarket, a pet shop,  Miles tea and coffee warehouse,  a post office and loads, loads more.
