looking for a campsite for july aug 2011. i have a 13 and a 5 year old who would love an indoor pool and a playground. does anyone know of a park around this area or anywhere else with lots of facilities. we did the quiet sites this year so have to let the kids choose some all action parks for next year not that they mind the quiet ones but its keeping the balance.we live in ne lincs and dont really want to travel much more than 4 hours.
im asking alot arent i but would really appreciate some help as im starting to become a bit obsessed about booking my hols for next year!!!

park resorts called Ty Mawr in Towyn North Wales near Rhyl might suit, Rhyl is horrible but you dont need to go there, plenty to do there with indoor swimming and kids stuff every evening in th cabaret room early and later for adults shops on site and couple of resorts a few miles either way on a coastal route, bit noisy for us but we are older but perfect for kids, my grandkids came to visit when we were there for a few weeks (we took a seasonal pitch) and they are going back to camp on their own now they enjoyed it so much quite dear august bank holidays but more reasonable any other time, look out for late bargains on the web
Don't be obsessed about it... the world will still be there when we aren't. Book time from work if necessary (though you may not be able to do that till well into next year), but enjoy this year, Christmas etc.. before bothering about 2011.
I'm thinking of going somewhere next week, but I won't book till the day before when I have an idea about the weather.

I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.

No pool on site but a nice little playground, within 2 miles of loads of good beaches (one lifeguarded) but not exactly North Wales just a little further down. Excellent facilities with more than most. Good prices
Excellent site with wonderful owners.
I second Dyffryn Seaside estate. Live close to you and it was just over 4 hours, with a short stop. Got everything you asked for and more. Dont forget the delta pegs though, gets a bit breezy!
hi foxyloxy, were going to greenacres in 5 weeks ,its a haven sight, next to snowdonia,we have never been before so dont no what to expect, we have stayed on haven sights a lot and we have never been unhappy with them,we book well in advance as we save money that way,its cost us £83 for 10 nights,we have booked 4 nights for may next year at a cost of £23 for primrose vally, if you do start to use the haven sights join the freedomtrail and save yourself some money, hope this helps a little ,
