hi looking for a site for next july in whitby,with ehu for tents,off to the whitby northern soul weekender so needs to be close to the centre of town or very short taxi ride as i dont want to use my car id like to have a drink,thanks

Have you tried this http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/calcdist.asp Click on the part you wish to visit, use the refine boxes on the left, bottom of the page how many miles, 5, 10 etc then update. It will show all the sites in that area.
We stayed at High Straggleton Farm. Bit of a walk from town, but managable. On bus route, opposite the golf course. Lovely views. Breezy as up on the hill so make sure your tent is well pegged down!
