Hi, We are looking for a static caravan preferably South Lakes or Morecambe Bay area, that is kid friendly (pool etc). This isnt my usual type of holiday (i`m a jolly camper who prefers a farmers field) but we have decided to go for this type of thing next year.
I was just about to book Lakeland holiday park, but then read some horrendous reviews. So if anybody can give me some good pointers I would appreciate it very much.

Have you looked at Holgates http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=1625 in Silverdale? I haven't been for 30 years so not as personal recommendationas such, but we used to go when I was little and it looks good for a park.

Yep I have had some positive reports about Holgates. The negatives seem to be, it is very expensive and it doesnt come across as a kids sort of place.

But it is one that I very much have in mind, Thanks
