Hello

I'm looking for a quiet sheltered campsite on the Isle of Wight and found Rookley at Kennerley House, Rookley, IOW in the Camping and Caravanning Club book. Unfortunatly there isn't a review on here or much details about the site on their website so I was wondering if anyone here has been there and what its like.

Hi,

We have stayed at Rookley quite a few times on our £9.50 sun holidays and its a really nice site but i think the touring section has been gone for quite a few years now!

you're right the Rookley country park no longer accepts tent or tourers and hasn't for a few yrs. But i thought OP was refering to a different site BUT onlooking on search can't which one they maybe refering to???

just looked at IOW map HERE and there is nothing near Rookley.

I thought they meant a different site as they mentioned Kennerley house, but am stumped!!

Just looked in the C&CC Sites Book and it's a Certified Site.
All I can suggest to get a better idea of what it looks like is to bring up the satellite view on Google Maps and also see if it can be seen from the road in Google Streetview, though that doesn't really help with reviews I know.
