Struggling to find a site that will accept us

Looking around Yorkshire, Lake District, Scottish Borders (As Far as Edinburgh)

Was thinking that. Had it all booked with Haven near Edinburgh but they went back on it after figuring us after we split the bookings into seperate partys so left us high and dry

Ill give google a bash for rally fields cheers

Cayton Bay tourist park near Scarbro, they have a Rally field, and are within easy reach of pubs and shops, Scarbro about 6 miles away, can be about a 10 min walk to the shower block though if your at the top end of the field, its quite a big one!

Why dont you give the thistle Inn a ring Alwinton, Northumberland and explain predicament

they might let you camp /real fire too if you clean up after yourself

facilities basic toilet over the road in carpark

and gorgeous food in pub

Not quite the Lake District but Gibraltar Farm at Silverdale has a rally field and also a private woodland to hire for parties.
