I'm thinking about going here (C&CC Club site) but on several reviews there are comments about the long narrow and bumpy track to the site. We have a twin axle caravan - so about 26 feet long, and wondered whether it is worth booking here, or just go to a site with better access?

Any opinions please?

Which West Runton site are you going to the CC or C&CC?

Oops sorry, yes the C&CC club site. The CC club is booked for part of the week we want to go unfortunately.

We use sometimes use the C&CC site at Runton.

The entrance is long and narrow with passing spaces, only a bit bumpy in parts! We've never had any access issues with our twin axle - IMO people make it sound far worse than it really is!

We have never had a problem with the drive.  OK there are some bad potholes but if you take it steady you will be ok.  It is really worth the drive down to get to this lovely caravan site.  It cannot be that bad as the chip van comes down the track twice a week.  There are plenty of passing places and if you have caravan on you have the right of way.  You will never meet another caravan coming up as very strict with the rule -  off before 12 and cannot come on site before 12.
