We stayed at Burrowhayes campsite near porlock last summer. great owners, great facilities , great stables, and great  countryside! Head straight for there and you won't be disappointed.

I was going to suggest the same site.  Burrowhayes.

Set in lovely picturesque countryside, with rides out onto the moor.  Also within easy driving distance of Porlock, Dunster, Minehead etc if you want a coastal day out.

I live 4-5 miles from Burrowhayes and  recommend it as being the best site with horses, for riding on Exmoor. I used to take my caravan there regularly before I was lucky enough to come and live here!  It has a lovely atmosphere and is a beautifully kept site.There are many lovely walks in the Horner Valley and on the surrounding hills.
