Im taking my fiancee camping for the first time in April and want to take her to a decent campsite in/around the Betws y coed area. Its got to be half decent as I dont want to ruin her first camping experience and put her off all together.

Ive stayed at Dolgam several times before but would like to try some where else with similar facilities... any ideas?

Haven't been here personally but been to both the sister sites Oxon and Stanmore and they have very clean and excellent facilities.  Good for a first time camping experience.

Riverside only take small backpacking tents.

I would highly recommend Rynys Farm approx 2 miles from Betws Y Coed. I have left a review last year. We go to this site at least a couple of times a year. The facilities are very clean, the views are fantastic and Carol, the owner is one of the friendliest you will meet. This site is what camping is all about.
