Thinking of a few days in South Devon this coming weekend at either CC Start Bay site near Kingsbridge, the C & CC site at Dartmouth (former Deer Park site) or the C & CC site at Slapton Sands. Ashamed to say it but although we've been caravanning for nearly 30 years we've never visited South Devon (our home county!) with the van usually preferring the quieter North Devon Coast. Now we're retired we can take more trips in the low season. Has anyone any preference for these South Hams sites, which all open this coming weekend, please?

The Slapton site is lovely. We go there at least once a year. It's flat, which is a bonus, and is a short walk from the beach and Slapton Ley. Friendly welcome from the site manager too and very helpful, with good facilities.

Along the front is a nice pub too or in the village (even closer).

Highly recommended by me at least!

Tak it you mean the C & CC site - both Club's sites are in the Slapton vicinity aren't they?
