Seeking a bit of assistance, I plan to go away in late June to the New forest/Bournemouth area. Does anyone know of a nice clean site with decent sized pitches (room for columbia 600 and shelter), with EHU and a bar or pub in walking distance? Ideally the campsite will have space and not cramped together,

We're off to Wareham Forest at the end of the week. It looks a nice site - read the reviews. I'll post one when I get back. It's a little bit west of the New Forest, but is good for Poole & Bournemouth. Swimming pool on site.
I've never been as it's a bit too local for us but it's close to Bournemouth, Poole and the New Forest.Pub within walking distance plus Ringwood is just up the road . It's a little market town with shops and supermarkets.

Red Shoot everytime if you are wanting New Forest! We have stayed several times, and it was this location that made my parents retire to the area after numerous visits there in the caravan. Beautiful location, lots of places nearby to visit.
We also went to South Lytchett Manor Caravan & Camping Park last year near Poole - again would thoroughly recommend. Hope you find somewhere nice
We've done Wilksworth Farm which has loads of space for big tents, and you can park your car with it too. Pitches around a field so a nice feeling of space.
Shamba we didnt like, teeny pitches all backing onto each other with roadways at the direct front of you, didnt like it at all - although the toilets were fabulous!!
South Lytchett manor is on our list to do as looks good.
Thanks for the advice, i'll do a search of the campsites everyone has kindly listed. Need to book up this weekend, going the first week in July for a week.
