Hi

I'm quite new to this site,  I was wondering if anyone on here know of any sites or run any with free pitches for the easter bank holiday weekend.  I know we've left it quite late this year.  I've rung lots of sites but with no luck so far.  We have an 8 berth khyam ontario tent,  2 Adults and 2 children with ehu.  Looking to go cumbria or north wales. Nothing too commercial but with a childrens playground at least.  Any help would be gratefully received.

Many Thanks in advance

Have a look at Camp Site Search's Sites with Availabilty Calendars.
Should cut down the phoning at least.
Hope you find somewhere!

Some sites don't use the availability calender, I would email a few, it doesn't take long.

Visit Llandrindod Wells! Great scenery, walks, cycling, red kites. Ideal for exploring Mid Wales.

The CCC have some sites with pitches still available, if you look at their website. You would be able to stay in some if you are not a member, but it would cost more.

If you can do without the playground and the ehu you'll be able to get in at Hewitts Camping Fields at Benllech, Anglesey - listed on here as Golden Sunset Holidays. Large grassy site with plenty of room for big tents - you can't book, you just turn up and pitch where you want, but space shouldn't be a problem so early in the year.

Hi Trace. If you find somewhere with availability it might be an idea to post back on here as there seem to be a few people still searching.

If you dont need EHU I would be surprised if you cant find a pitch somewhere, its still early in the season and there are a lot of campsites in the Lakes.

Good luck, hope you get something sorted.

Thanks for all yous advice.  We need ehu as our daughter is diabetic and need a fridge to keep insulin also an electric heater at night is a nice option this early.  I have tried emailing and availability calenders.  losing the will tbh.  Might just put it down to bad organisation lol.  if i do find something i'll post here to let others know.

Thanks again xxx

Hi

Thanks for all your help guys.  We've found a site.  Hylton Park, Silloth, Cumbria.  Sister site to  Stanwix Park.  Quieter of the two with entertainment and pool down the road if wanted.  Hope it's ok.
