Hi, we are going this weekend..really carnt wait as its our first camp trip this year...we are not very familiar with this area so was just wondering if anyone as been here could tell me if there are any supermarkets nearby..shld we need to stock up on supplies..also we are taking our cadac..but we are not sure how much gas is left in the bottle..dont want to run out as we want to cook a roast on sunday (hence wanting to find out if there are any supermarkets near by)..are they any campshops close enough shld we need to get more gas!!

There is a large Morrisons in Stamford (next to the hospital) which is approx 5 miles away from Sacrewell Farm, There is Tesco Extra at Serpentine Green, Peterborough which is approx 10 miles away.

There is a Hardware store in Stamford which sells camping gas etc;  There is Ferry Meadows CC site at Peterborough which will probably sell gas too.

You will enjoy - there is a cracking Fish and Chip Shop in Stamford called Riverside bit pricey but well worth it.
