Hi all, planning our first camping trip of this year and taking another family on their first ever camping experience, we are taking six children and a dog between us and the men would love a site that allows camp fires, we have looked at one site within the south east but are a bit concered about the groups allowed on site and the impact that might have on our family break.

I would be really greatful of any ideas.

Palace Farm in Doddington allows fires in their firepits. Basic tent only, not ehu site but great for families and only 25 pitches so the field is never packed and they do not allow large groups.

See you are in Kent so this site maybe too local for you.

There is also Hayles Fruit farm in Dorset which has good reviews too.
