I do lots of walking and camping and for my 40th birthday, would like to take a group of friends - prob 10 in total max, for a nice walk and then camp the night.

I am struggling to find a site that would allow such a group, we do not plan on being noisy or having music!

any suggestions very gratefully recieved.

NT site at Great Langdale, however, no booking so a case of getting there early to get a place at weekends!

 National Trust sites have on line booking now. Not sure for groups though.

 I would suggest Turner Hall Farm, seathwaite. Basic but wonderful location. Fabulous walk Coniston Old Man via Walna Scar road & Dow Crag. And pub a short walk away.

We Stayed at Lanefoot Farm a couple of years ago and what appeared to be a group arrived & camped so I presume they allow them. The owners are really nice people and I'm sure if you explain your circumstances they'd be fine, may be different if it were your 18th birthday
