Hi

Im looking for a campsite in Yorkshire Dales area!  Mainly the south, the  Skipton end.

Was looking at Appletreewick, but has some bad reviews since it has been taken over

We were looking forward to the stream, shallow enough to search through

If anyone know of any sites, wih NO entertainment, clubs etc...good toilets and showers in that area, i would REALLY appreciate the feedback

Thank you in advance (Ps for end July start of August)

CAEdwards,Riverside looks lovely, just wondered what the pricing of the site is like as there doesn't appear to be a website?

We stayed at Woodhouse Farm in Ripon last month and that was nice

We have been quoted £11 per night (tent, 2 adults & 1 infant).

We will let you know what our experience of the place is after the weekend :-)

Hi Reen - I havent been at all, but I know it's well thought of, perhaps just a bit too close to home for me.  I think most sites will be  busy on a bank holiday weekend to be honest.

HI, we stayed at riverside at the end of march, lovely site, very clean/tidy with a sandy play area for little ones, toilets/showers immaculate, lovely owners who sell you fresh laid eggs, also they do allow non-members, you just pay extra - cost £12 with ehu for me OH & the dog.

Riverside was lovely - 5 min walk to railway for a 4 min ride to Skipton. 5 mins to 2 pubs, ate in the new inn - lovely!

Campsite clean and well kept - impressed!
