Hi,

I am looking for a campsite as close as possible to a beach, in the South of England, preferably within about a 3 hour drive of Surrey/West Sussex. 

Must accept tents.

Would really like to be right next to the sea if possible. 

Does anyone have any recommendations?

there is a good one at Folkstone cant recall its name but its right on the beach just to the left (dover side) of Harbour.

down a small lane.

also there is one at Seaford (called Buckal I think) and thats also right on the beach.

Kingsdown I think it the one Sara means. We stayed there at the beginning of the month, it's a great site - you can pitch your tent so you are looking out over the sea and at night you can see the lights of Calais. There is direct access to the beach from the site, just across a minor road, and also a nice clifftop walk. It's near Deal.
