Hi,
We have been looking at sites in the Camborne/Redruth area. Can anyone tell me if there are any beaches not too far away that allow dogs?

We have always stayed near Padstow before because the majority of beaches allow dogs.

Kay

Perranporth at the moment allows dogs all year (council are trying to overturn this though).  Lovely wide beach with plenty of room for all.  To be honest, nowhere is too far from anywhere in Cornwall as the further you go down the narrower it is from North to South coasts.

This is a handy site:

Click on the area you want, and the beach you would like and it will tell you about accessibility, parking, toilets and if dogs are banned or not.

Thanks,
I know about Perranporth. Porthtowan doesn't allow dogs but are there any nice beaches below there that do?

Porth Kidney Sands, dogs allowed  all year.

Mexico Sands (near Gwithian/Hayle) allows them all year too.

I love Porthtowan, one of my favourites in Cornwall - but we always go there out of season.
