HI,
wondering if anyone knows of first come first served sites in the south, as far west as Bournemouth say.

planning on heading off for the weekend, but EVERYWHERE is booked up, unsurprisingly.

If Weymouth is not too far for you, try Rosewall Camping.  They have a very large camping site and we def' recommend it.  Its Bournmouth side of Weymouth.  Search Weymouth Camping and you should find their web site.  Good hunting and have a great weekend.

or solent view campsite in Lymington thats massive and always plenty of spaces

Yes, I think you can ignore the reference to ten pitches in the Steeple Leaze listing.

(Just a thought - I'm assuming you're looking for tent sites (as you've posted on Camping under canvas) but any caravanners reading this should note that Woodyhyde doesn't take caravans (awkward access), nor, officially at least, does Steeple Leaze.)
