I would say Norden is slightly smaller. Norden definitely has better amenities but Woodyhyde has more of an atmosphere IMO what with being having the Swanage railway going through the site; but then again it depends if you prefer a working farm atmosphere or the trains. Woodyhyde now has EHU and will have new showers open next year!
Thanks for that. I do love Woodhyde, but think we might give Norden a try this time just so the kids have a slightly different experience. Beautiful area isn't it.
Yes, by all means try Norden Farm - depending on their ages the kids should enjoy the small play park and pets' corner, and if they miss waving to the train crew and passengers, there are a couple of stations within walking distance!
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Love it! I have been going there for years as a relatively shot distance beach trip. Occasionally just for the day, but usually to camp a night or two. Apparently Kirrin Castle in the Famous Five was based on Corfe Castle. I have always called it Famous Five country round there. Only disappointment is that I've never found anywhere selling homemade ginger beer? Also I always have to go shopping, where are the rosy cheeked farmers offering me free baskets of ham, hard boiled eggs and various sandwiches and cakes?
We have used both Norden & woodyhide. For us it would be Norden farm every time. Better facilities, better location, more to do especially for the kiddies.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
