Hey Everyone,

Going camping for the first time in July to the Americana Show in Newark. Been there before just not in a tent.

Just wondering if anyone has been camping there in previous years and how they found it or are planning on going this year.

If you have an American car which you need to camp on the main inner site in my experience it's a brilliant chill out weekend. There's no trouble and I've never heard of anything being stolen. The Hells Angels are security and it works! The loo's / showers are hectic as you'd expect so getting a shower is a challenge. If you're not on the main site I'm not sure, it looks a bit more manic in the tented area outside the main gate. We always have a great time and never had a problem taking our young kids. It's first come first serve to where you pitch so get there as early as you can.
