hi everyone, can anyone recommend any good campsites to stay at near drayton manor theme park and alton towers??
we are staying in a tent with 3 children aged between 3 and 12. many thanks

Hi There is the Star Camping and Caravanning club site which is the closest to Alton Towers, it is open to non members, i cant comment on what the site is like as i havent been for many years but it might be worth taking a look on their web site. It is only about a mile from the towers so within walking distance.

Close to Drayton Manor is Kingsbury C&CC site, or a bit further out is Conkers C&CC site (which personally, I prefer). I have a feeling Drayton Manor have (or used to have) a Caravan/Camping site on the Leisure Park itself. It would be worth checking.
I haven't really taken much notice of this as it's not really our thing, but did I hear that one of the clubs had opened a site at Alton, near to Alton Towers?

Yes, Drayton Manor, and the Alton one is now a C&CC site.
