I know where the main marina is as we have a friend who lives there onboard a narrowboat, but i have no idea about the campsite. Theres some fairly good towpath walks to be had, and a choice of several pubs. The nearest supermarkets are in the small town of Long Eaton where you will find a Tesco and an Asda, although near to the Marina gates theres a small neighbourhood centre with a Tesco express store, cash machine, a Pizza parlour and a very good fish and chip shop amoungst other outlets, Beautician ect.
Im sorry i dont know of the campsite itself, mainly because it would be a little too close to home to use it!
