We are staying in a tent and don't really want to travel too much. Can anyone say if there is any where close to Deers Glade in Norfolk for food shopping, other than the site shop? I've google mapped but don't see anywhere close by.

I think the nearest shop is Morrisons at Cromer. Why not arrange to have your shopping delivered to site before you leave?

Hopefully we will be there at the end of the month.

There's a Tesco in Aylsham (just down the road) and also a Lidl in North Walsham, good butchers and market there too.....

All are about the same distance from Deers Glade...

You MUST try the Waverley cake shop in Cromer too!!! mmmmmmmmm!

As 3madboyz says, North Walsham has a Lidl BUT also has a decent-sized Sainsburys, good butchers and bakers shops.

Hope you enjoy Deers Glade. I haven't been there yet but I know the people who run it.

Highly recommend the site, will do review when I get home. Found Morrisons in Cromer the better of the supermarkets, Tesco has no fresh meat or fish counter. Have since found fish shop in Blakney, "Bootiful"!!!!

I believe Deers Glade run a free minibus to one in the evening (or they used to). I ate at the pub and it was fine.
