really would like to go to whitby in a few weeks but cant decide on a site,i would love to be able to walk down into whitby from the site.i was looking at cc site but no toilet block so thats out.so any good ones please ?

broadlands farm. Walk to Whitby but a taxi back (5 mins) as its uphill.

We used Sandfield House Farm last June, out of the site, cross over the road, down a path straight on to beach, where you can walk along the prom into Whitby.

We would go back for that reason cant get any closer to the beach.

middlewood farm at Robin Hood's bay is nice. Has it's own pathway down to the village. 5 mins in the car to Whitby.

Yes same here Sandfield house, nice walk to either Whitby or Sansend. Good pub nearby, lovly beach.

We didn't move the car all week.

High Straggleton Farm is directly behind Sandfield house.  A working farm with clean facilities, a great site between Whitby and Sandsend.
