Hey campers, I've been given the difficult task of finding a place to pitch a tent in the lake district.
Were an all male party of about 8 people ranging from 17-18, turns out this is difficult already, were also travelling by rail so a spot nearby a train station would be good too. But we can manage at most a 40 minute walk to find a destination. Anyone got anywhere, i've looked at Gilbrator farm however there policys seem abit to strict, such as no music and in at 11, is this just there or do they actually enforce this.
Please someone help!

Thanks for your email. I am sorry but we can't accept same sex groups or groups under 21. Good luck trying to find a suitable campsite.

We live in Kendal and our son had the same problem. Try natland park farm or site at Sedgewick..sorry cant remember the name but they may accept you. Both within 20 minutes walk of Oxenholme station. Good luck,
sorry jack think you have no chance of finding a site mate,99 per cent of comercial sites have strict rules,simpley beacause a wide range of people use them, from families with young kids to older people looking for a quite time.For what you have in mind mate i would just try and find a field some were.Try looking and see if there is any natural trust sites.

I guess it's because of this that they have the restrictions.
Hope you find somewhere. Try a field and get away early before anyone knows.
