Hi, I'm from Holland and I don't know if I have to make reservations in July and August. My wife and I are travelling with a tent and we intend to make a trip through Kent, The Cotswolds and the Isle of Wight. Is there anyone who could inform me about reservations and/or give it a shot?

Given how far you are travelling and because you are holidaying in July and August, I would think it is safer to pre-book campsites. Otherwise you might find you are spending much of your holiday searching for somewhere to stay.

Hi Lodewijk, use the campsite search on here, pre-plan and pre-book. July and August are always busy as the schools will be on holiday. Hope you enjoy your stay and extend a welcome to my home county of Kent..........Mick
Yes, welcome to Kent. I would think you would have to book. You can look on the campsite search section and put in the county to see all the sites in that county. What type of site do you want?

Thank you all for your advice. I think it will be very different, because two weeks ago we visited a very nice campsite near Florence in Italy and we "suffered" every day from 33 degrees.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
