Hi guys

im looking for a campsite in ashbourne or derbyshire that has onsite fishing, decent fishing not a puddle in a field, and not at the mad house callowtop.

I know i can do the campsite search but ive lost the will to live with it and my eyes hurt, any first hand  would be great

Not quite onsite, but within walking distance and with the possibility of a boat hire out into the middle of the reseavoir are the Carsington water campsites. also maybe the sites around the river Wye if your into fly fishing for Trout and Greyling with the appropiate licences and permissions of course

I'm not a fisher, My father in law is and he keeps returning to this site so it cant be that bad for fishing. Theres about 3-4 ponds with different stuff in.

The location works for me - not far from Derby for decent shopping at the Westfield centre. Its just over the road from Elvaston Hall and grounds.
