I know I've asked before but I'll have another crack!

Trying to locate a site with perimeter pitching with playground in middle or in same field so visible from tents, some EHU, nice toilet and shower facilities, maybe even a little shop or cafe.

Basically do not want inner and outer field pitching, or a playground/area away from the pitches.

Any suggestions gratefully received! So far we've visited Hill Cottage Farm, Honeybridge Farm, Wilksworth Farm and non have quite ticked all the boxes. Trying Blacklands Farm this weekend coming.

Hurst View at Lymington has a very open field with a small play area in the middle.  If you take a look at there web site there's a photo.

We camped there a couple of years ago.  The pitch was flat but flooded later in the week because of the terential rain we had for 2 days.

The toilets at the time were nothing to write home about, but I see from their website they have installed some new ones.

Hope you find your ideal site - we all have different requirements and as the children grow and change your'll find your requirements will too.

Happy camping.

Thanks guys - liking those 2 sites, particularly Hurst View - so much easier when they have a proper website.

Will give both a try I think.

Hi, we haven't been to this one but as our usual campsite in the area won't be available we're going to try it soon

Red House Farm Campsite

It looks like its good for family camping.
