First trip in a brand new tent (Kalahari 10), first trip of the year, and first trip for our daughter!!

Tomorrow we're off to Penpont Campsite near Brecon http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=11023   There's 16 adults and 1 18 month year old going, and as the place it relatively small we've been given exclusivity of the site!  All lovely people - mix of family and friends. I've visted the site twice (it's not far from us!) and it's a gorgeous location.

The weather is looking fab, we'll be packing the car tonight.  I don't think we've forgotten anything, but we're only 50 mins away from home if a disaster strikes, and Brecon town is a few minutes drive away if we need anything. But I am trying to plan this trip well enough that we shouldn't NEED to go anywhere or get anything!

I'm SO excited!! Will post some pictures of our set up and the site (and do a review if possible) when we're back! 

Now I've posted this, I HAVE to post pictures and let you know how it went don't I!

Will do!!  I'm terrible for taking loads of pics and then forgetting I even have a camera and leaving it behind when going for walks and things, but I shall try!!! lol

Here we go!

What a wonderful weekend!  Will do a proper  review of the site later on, but here's a few pictures!

Eileedhoops - I didn't take a picture of the river (my camera had a funny turn by the end of the weekend) but my dad did.  Once I get the pictures off him I'll upload one for you!

Our tent - Kalahari 10 and porch.  First time it was ever pitched and I'm aware the porch doesn't look well pitched - we had more trouble with the porch than the tent! lol

The awning that the campsite have up all summer!! Was a godsend when the sun was out!

Majority of the group gathered around the campfire!
