hi looking for a site about 40 minutes drive from harwich ferry port would like some amenities to keep the kids happy due to staying three nights. tried tthe have site but its fully booked any ideas

Strangers Home at Bradfield. At the back of a pub has showers toilets, playground, live music and food at the pub. Walking distance of estuary with small beach. Only 15/20 minutes from Harwich. 01255 870304. £16 per night. Otherwise it is Clacton or Mersea. Waldegraves at West Mersea has a pool and entertainment with shingle beach but is a bit more pricey. Can't think of any where else
