we are travelling down to Rockley Park, Poole, Dorset on Saturday from Hartlepool, North East, and would appreciate advice on the best route down when towing a caravan please?

Yep there almost is no alternative without taking loads of A roads cross country earlier in the journey. After the M27 stay on the A31 and it takes you more or less to the door, albeit via a lot of roundabouts
