If a site says there's a TV socket on the EHU bollards does that mean it's like hooking the TV up to the aerial socket at home, would we just need a long aerial cable?

yes, exactly the same, perfect picture every time. We got ours from caravan dealer, I think the cc sell them but not sure what the price is like. We feed it through the window and straight into the tv.

Thank you, sounds a lot easier than trying to get a picture on the portable aerial!

If we know a CC site we are visiting has a TV hook-up we don't bother to take our satellite system. You do have to retune the TV to the local stations which on digital television seems a touch more difficult that the old analogue TV's, perhaps its just my struggling with new technology!

I've got a freeview dongle for my laptop which works brilliantly with a proper aerial.  Easy enough to retune so hopefully no probs, thanks.

We paid about £14 for our cable at a CC site.
