I would also recommend Trevornick.

Another little gem is Magic Cove, Mawgan Porth.

This is a small site but within 5 minutes walk to the beach which is life guard attended, dog friendly.  Shops, pub within easy walk in the village and Newquay to Padstow bus is 100yards from the site.  Book early as it's popular.

Monkey Tree is good too !

A 10 minuite drive from Newquay. Good large pitches and clubhouse on site.

    I would recommend Hendra, Especialy if you have kids, Indoor & outdoor pools, kiddies clubs, play area, train rides, And the facilities are top notch, I did try trevornick in 2005, Cant knock the site, but not a patch on hendra.

Lovely site, with duck pond and shop and bar for the grown-ups, but this is very quiet and only open for three hours each night, and we've never had any noise problems. - (There was one woman in a caravan, who loved opera and sang along to her hifi for two hours every day...  I think nobody complained, or she would have been asked to pipe it down!)  The owners are brilliant and always available to solve problems.

All the facilities you need, two beautiful beaches (great surfing in walking distance from the site!), headland walks and walks across Cubert Common, an SSSI conservation area.  Three pubs within easy walking distance, good ale, a nice restaurant in the village, and a great tea shop.  The people of Crantock are also very nice, and always smile as they pass by.
