Hi, weve left it late to book for 7th Aug-10th Aug and Ive not been able to get into a couple of sites we know are good.
I wondered if anyone has any recommendations for the Lakes or North Yorks. We would ideally like a pub nearby and local shops and again ideally one of the nicer sites. :-)

I havent been myself, but have you tried scarborough C & CC. I know there is alot of spaces because i looked yesterday and found alot of spaces for august. We booked for mid august and we were told we could pick were we wanted to pitch the tent, that cant be bad, never heard that before. Thr reviews seem pretty good too.
