Im deciding on when to go camping next but id like to venture further than a mile from home lol! Has anyone been around the North Wales area camping and would recommend anywhere decent with a play area. Thank You in advance for your help :)
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
We have never been "camping" in North Wales as we are newbies but we have been to many sites with static vans.
Rhyl, Abergele and Prestatyn are full of sites with play areas, kids clubs etc - Ty Mawr is a nice site with a pool, play area, kids club, entertainment etc but i think its quite expensive ?
Prestatyn Sands is a great site - both are Haven sites.
We have stayed in statics at both but my parents come along in their caravan and have been pleased with the facilities.
My grandparents live in North Wales and it is covered in sites so i think its a case of narrowing down the facilities you need and the price ?
try hennlys in towyn lovely site nice veiws from camping field got a play area on site no clubs, shops on site but everything you will need is in walking distance eg beach fair bakery chemist pubs clubs chippy realy nice place to take a child ( its nicer and cleaner than ty mawr they dont have toilet and shower blocks only had porta loos no no no ) have a good holiday werever you decide to go.
Nantcol Waterfalls - no play area but you wont need it as the streams etc are more than enough for the kids to play in, we have just got back and its an absolutely beautiful site
