As we've never been there with the MH,we're thinking of trying to pay a visit to  Buxton and although my brother swares by Grin Low,I was looking at Lime Tree Park,as it looks to be within easier walking distance....

I just wondered if anyone has stayed there..and what the walk in to Buxton is like?

..are you clinging to the hedgerow,for dear life,in fear of getting mowed down by passing traffic??(..something we've encountered on a few "..oh,it doesn't look very far.." sites!   )

From Grin Low, by comparison, the walk is through the woods and you only come to a road once in Buxton (at Pooles Cavern where they allow dogs in at the cafe!)

Oh!..well we've never actually been to Grin Low..although as I said,my brother has used it a lot but as he's got a caravan,I think he tends to drive everywhere..

Phil...can I just ask, is that "through the woods" route an "all weather" option or does it get ankle deep in mud..?
