I have been spoilt and slightly stuck in a rut. When we find a good site we tend to return rather than find new places but need to branch out now.

We have just returned from Barlows in Carwys which is only £5 a night and is a lovely site but I would like to find somewhere new.

I am in Liverpool and would like to travel no more than 1.5 hours as have small kids. Would like a playground and dogs allowed. Cheap is good too.

Your £5 per night will take some beating,lots of sites within your 1.5hrs Derbyshire,,yorkshire, and around Lancaster area.Have a look at the campsite search facility you will be able to look in all areas and read reviews.Good luck

Park cliffe windermere although not cheap is u n beatable it has stunning showers and bathrooms,play area,bar,restaurant,they even took me and my 2yr old to hospital late one night in their landrover (20 miles away) and brought us back, Bet no one can beat that for service? They also came round on our morning of departure and said stay later if you want as no one is booked on your pitch.This site sets the benchmark for all other sites.
