I hate the place, with a passion. Too loud, too crowded, too expensive, not like the brochure, too many flies/mossies, too many scummy people (not you I'm sure!!), the shop is full of overpriced stuff, charged for EVERYTHING (no table tennis kit hire you HAVE to buy their expensive kit), nowhere near flat enough for comfort, whopping great cracks in the ground, slept really badly due to lighting and noise from other tents, no help from other tenters when packing up in the rain despite dolling out tea and help when they arrived in the rain, Weymouth is like Skegness but less classy.
Nope, not a fan.
Yukk.

2014:
August: Scarborough, High Yedmandale. Not tenting though, using one of their lovely holiday homes!
I think that East Fleet is a lovely site I have been twice now and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I shan't be going next year because of the crowds in Weymouth for the Olympics, however I shall certainly be going again 2013.

Having just got back from East Fleet I feel that I can't praise the site enough. From arrival the staff were very helpfull and took me to my pitch. After spending a couple of days at the site and having walked around most of the site I found all pitches were well kept and none would bother me in the slightest with reference to sloping.
I enjoyed the table tennis and for the mere £3.00 for two bats and balls to keep as long as you like and to play as much as you like seems a good deal. I'm sure many places would charge that for just one hire.
I can understand "carperjake's" problems but saying that the site isn't like the brochure is abit far fetched. Most sites I know wouldn't mention about flies/mosqueitos in their brochure and most sites if not country wide would suffer this in the summer months.
I also found the shop very good. It sells a wide range of camping gear at very good prices. I picked up a new Cadac at a great price.
