Can some one recommend a campsite in the Derbyshire Peak District. Ideally for walking, drinking etc, & a dog!!!!

There are quite a few sites at pubs in the camp site search .

What about the Bull in thorne, haven't been on the site but the pubs good.

Lime tree park. plenty of places around to walk the dog, nice camping area, nice site, easy walk in to Buxton.

Knotlow Farm is on the Limestone Way and has a couple of pubs within about a mile or so walk.

Beech croft farm!

Toilet and shower facilities are fantastic and its a lovely site in a little hamlet! Pubs in walking distance and its between bakewell and buxton so loads to do!

Rivendale is good, near tissington trail, pub on site.  Waterloo hotel cs behind a pub, on the Limestone way.  theres a good site at Hope (cant remmber the name but have done a recent review of it on here) near castleton, 2 pubs in the village and lots up at castleton about a 3 mile walk by the river. This area is our favourite and not far from home, most sites have great views.
