It depends what you call cheap I suppose. For the site itself I can highly recommend Centenary Way at Filey - I can't remember what their charges are though but it would be worth a phone call. Lovely site with very good clean facilities, fifteen minutes pleasant walk to the beach and the same into the town. You don't state what unit you have but even if it's a tent you can still have a pitch with ehu.

Give them a ring and if it's in your price range get booked, you won't be disappointed.

The Scarborough Camping Club site isnt too far away from beach and town and has a bus stop right outside it. There is also Cayton Bay, or the Filey one mentioned above, most others are too far away to walk unless you consider 5 miles acceptable as most campsites are not on the coastal side of the town. If you do a search on here for Scarborough sites you can see what is available, but close to the beach / town and cheap isnt really going to be an option. Generally the closer to the coast the higher the prices.

Although it's not Scarborough/Filey area, you could try Barmston Southview Cottages Certificated Site at Barmston, near Bridlington.

It's close to the beach and bus stop. I think it costs around £12 per night.

Hope you find what your after.
